Atlanta’s Dragon Con reliably delivers that glorious collision of pop culture obsessions and deep‑cut nerd passions—sci‑fi, gaming, comics, movies, fantasy literature, and every other corner of fandom you can imagine. It’s also a magnet for some of the most inventive cosplay out there, and this year’s showing is on another level entirely. Fortunately, Mineralblu was on hand to capture the standout creations.

This batch features characters you almost never see brought to life—Clone Wars’ Barriss Offee, Dolly Parton, Dungeon Crawler Carl—alongside wildly original concepts and cross‑genre mashups no one else would dream up. Someone turned themselves into the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones, another embodied Drogon, and they’re joined by a boxed Buc‑ee’s Barbie, a brilliantly executed Star Wars–X‑Men “Storm Trooper,” a version of Totoro reimagined for Expedition 33, and the unbeatable mushroom‑cloud coiffure of Fallout 1776.
