The End of Oak Street – Movie Trailers

Long Thai

We’ve gone from total mystery to a much clearer picture of Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor’s secretive sci‑fi project, The End of Oak Street. The early teaser hinted at the unthinkable — dinosaurs tearing through an otherwise ordinary suburban block. The full trailer pushes things even further, delivering more prehistoric chaos, more panic, and a stronger focus on a family scrambling to stay alive.

Hathaway’s scenes, in which she confronts the oncoming creatures while an unsettling reinterpretation of Billy Joel’s “My Life” underscores the chaos, lend the film an unexpectedly striking tension. The pairing of image and sound heightens the sense of unease and further piques curiosity about the project, guided by It Follows writer‑director David Robert Mitchell and produced by J.J. Abrams. And with no new Jurassic entry currently slated, the prospect of exploring dinosaurs in a fresh narrative context feels like a welcome shift.

The official description remains the same: “After a mysterious cosmic event rips Oak Street from suburbia and transports their neighborhood to someplace unknown, the Platt family soon discovers that their very survival depends on them sticking together as they navigate their now unrecognizable surroundings.”

The cast of The End of Oak Street also features Maisy Stella and Christian Convery. The movie hits theaters on August 14.
