COYOTE VS. ACME – MOVIE TRAILERS

LONG THAI

The first trailer for Coyote vs. Acme has finally arrived, leaning into its reputation as “the movie Acme didn’t want you to see.” In truth, the film’s biggest adversary was Warner Bros., which infamously shelved the completed project in 2023. Thankfully, Ketchup Entertainment stepped in to rescue the film from oblivion, and it is now officially slated for an August 28 release. Judging by the energy in this long-awaited trailer, the wait will have been more than worth it.

Directed by Dave Green, Coyote vs. Acme finally dramatizes the long-standing, comical absurdity that has defined the Looney Tunes universe for generations. For decades, audiences have watched in helpless amusement as Wile E. Coyote placed his desperate, often ill-fated trust in a litany of high-tech Acme Corporation products to snare his elusive prey, the Road Runner, only to suffer the inevitable, physics-defying consequences of faulty equipment.

Now, the long-suffering coyote has reached his breaking point. Moving beyond the slapstick silence of the desert, he has taken the legal route, hiring a determined, underdog lawyer named Kevin Avery (played by Will Forte) to spearhead a landmark lawsuit against the monolithic, ever-failing mega-corporation. However, the path to justice is far from smooth; Acme has assembled a formidable defense team, led by none other than John Cena, who plays the corporation’s high-powered legal representative. This collision between cartoon desperation and corporate litigation promises to be a wild, meta-textual spectacle. Here is the trailer.

Coyote vs. Acme comes to theaters on August 28.
