After years of development — including a Netflix follow‑up to the original ’80s cartoon — He‑Man is finally heading back to theaters in a brand‑new Masters of the Universe film, and the debut trailer has dropped.
The movie is directed by Travis Knight (Bumblebee) and stars Nicholas Galitzine (Red, White & Royal Blue) as Adam Glenn, who escaped Eternia as a child and grew up on Earth. Now an adult, he returns to reclaim the Sword of Grayskull, transform into He‑Man, and take on Jared Leto’s Skeletor. The trailer also highlights familiar franchise icons such as Teela (Camila Mendes), Man‑at‑Arms (Idris Elba), and Evil‑Lyn (Alison Brie).
Masters of the Universe comes out on June 5, 2026.
