AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY – MOVIE TEASER

LONG THAI

The first Avengers: Doomsday teaser brought back Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers, and the second spotlighted Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. Week three shifts gears entirely—it’s X‑Men time.

Well, “X‑Men” in the sense that the focus is squarely on the team’s legacy. This teaser highlights three returning stars: Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and a brief hint of James Marsden’s Cyclops. We see the Xavier Institute—eerily empty—and Charles and Erik once again facing off over a chessboard, echoing their iconic moments from the earlier films.

Then, Cyclops yanks off his visor to use a full-force optic blast in the middle of battle. And after that shot of Cyclops? “The X-Men will return…”

The MCU has been inching toward a full‑on reunion with the original Fox X‑Men for some time now—beginning with an alternate‑universe Xavier in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and carrying that momentum through The Marvels and Deadpool & Wolverine.

In Avengers: Doomsday, roughly a third of the principal cast is made up of returning X‑Men veterans. Alongside Charles, Erik, and Scott, the film brings back older incarnations of Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming), Mystique (Rebecca Romijn), Beast (Kelsey Grammer), and Gambit (Channing Tatum). Whether additional alumni—like Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Halle Berry’s Storm, or Famke Janssen’s Jean Grey—will appear remains an open question, but it’s certainly within the realm of possibility.

Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters on December 18.
