2025 may be packed with films, but 2026 is shaping up to be just as stacked. Early in the year, Warner Bros. will roll out They Will Kill You, and its first trailer teases a bloody, frightening, and darkly funny ride.
The movie is directed by Kirill Sokolov (Why Won’t You Just Die!), who co‑wrote the script with Alex Litvak. Zazie Beetz leads the cast as a housekeeper working at the Virgil, one of New York’s “most exclusive” luxury towers. That exclusivity comes with a sinister twist: the building houses a demonic cult that abducts people for monthly sacrifices. Once she pieces together the link between the disappearances and the Virgil’s residents—and realizes she’s next on the chopping block—the cult tries to eliminate her. Unfortunately for them, she’s far tougher than they expect, and she’s forced to battle her way through the labyrinthine building to stop their operation… potentially with the help of her flaming axe.
Also starring Myha’la, Paterson Joseph, and Heather Graham, They Will Kill You releases March 27 in theaters.
