Fans of the Game of Thrones universe are in for a feast in 2026. Alongside the return of House of the Dragon for its third season, the new spin‑off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will dive into one of the most beloved corners of Westerosi history.
New York Comic Con attendees were given a peek behind the curtain for the upcoming series, which is set to premiere in January. The show will dive deep into the tales of George R.R. Martin’s Hedge Knight in a six-episode adaptation of his stories.
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms aims to portray Westeros from a scaled-down, grittier perspective—no Iron Throne in sight. It’s definitely a much-needed change of pace and we can’t wait to see more!
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms will debut on HBO January 18, 2026.
