LONG THAI
Guillermo del Toro’s long‑awaited, much‑buzzed‑about monster epic Frankenstein is just weeks away from hitting theaters ahead of its Netflix premiere on November 7. With the release date fast approaching, Netflix has dropped a full trailer that finally reveals the sweeping scale and ambition behind del Toro’s take on the classic tale.
Crafted by the Oscar‑winning filmmaker known for Pan’s Labyrinth, The Shape of Water, and Hellboy, Frankenstein casts Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein—“a brilliant but egotistical scientist who creates life through a monstrous experiment, setting in motion the downfall of both himself and the tragic being he brings into the world.”
Jacob Elordi plays that creature, and they’re joined by Mia Goth, Felix Kammerer, David Bradley, Lars Mikkelsen, and Christian Convery, with Charles Dance and Christoph Waltz. It’s an incredible cast, an even better filmmaker, and now, it’s got a new trailer.
