Every year in the bustling metropolis of Houston, Texas, thousands of cosplayers have gathered since 2007 at the Japanese culture festival that is Anime Matsuri. For many fans, Anime Matsuri is an opportunity to unveil some of their latest creations as well as attend unique exhibits, concerts, and guests rarely seen at other conventions in the United States.

Held annually at the recently renovated George R. Brown Convention Center in downtown Houston, Anime Matsuri has been fortunate to enjoy numerous picturesque cosplay photography indoor and outdoor locations thanks to the expansive convention space bordering a picturesque outdoor public park, and flanked by two large main hotels.  Anime Matsuri 2019 will be held June 13-16, 2019.
