Every year during Halloween weekend, on a small coastal beach about an hour’s drive south of Houston, Texas, you will find an anime convention nestled literally right across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. This provides cosplayers with the unique distinction of being at one of the rarest conventions in the world with beach access only one crosswalk away from the con itself.
