A video teaser appeared briefly this morning on Netflix’s YouTube channel featuring Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist in an elevator via security cam footage. Jessica Jones sees the camera and punches it out with the camera timestamp at 08:18:20:17, indicating the premiere of the Defenders on August 18, 2017!
The footage also has an ip address of http://23.253.120.81, which takes you to a fake website for the Netflix Marvel universe’s newspaper of choice, the New York Bulletin. Filled with articles referring to Iron Fist, but at the very bottom, the site includes a confirmation blurb stating “Watch “Marvel’s The Defenders” All Episodes Streaming Only on Netflix August 18.”
