Last night, Neil Blomkamp (director of District 9 and Elysium) posted several images on his Instagram account of concept art that he apparently pitched to Fox for a potential Aliens sequel. The images are firmly built from the world that James Cameron and Ridley Scott left behind in Aliens and Alien, including amazing images of Sigourney Weaver as Ripley and even Michael Biehn as Corporall Hicks!
Behold the images of a movie concept that possibly was shelved in favor of the current Prometheus direction helmed by Ridley Scott… Is it too late to give Neil Blomkamp the green light for this awesome looking movie?
